Dear Families:
Welcome to Dena’s Family Daycare! My home-based daycare will provide a safe, clean, secure, loving, and nurturing environment for your child. Your child will be engaged in fun and educational activities to stimulate mental, physical, and emotional growth. I strongly believe in play-based learning and will facilitate activities that your child will both enjoy and learn from. Art, music, dance, puzzles, reading, and indoor and outdoor physical activities, to name a few. We will also have holiday parties and crafts, and birthday celebrations.
As a mother of two school-aged daughters, my inspiration for starting a daycare began during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. I decided to leave my desk job to be available to help my children with their distance learning so they could thrive academically and emotionally during such difficult times. Having a home-based daycare allowed me to stay home with them while also providing quality childcare for other children. I have always enjoyed being around children, and I cannot think of a better way to do what I love than to be a childcare provider.
It is my goal to provide a platform of open communication and I will always welcome your feedback. It is also my goal to ensure that your child is happy and content, and I will do my best to accommodate each individual child’s needs, within reason. I understand that each child is different and has different needs (e.g., dietary preferences, emotional, etc.).
I am confident your child will love their time here, and I know I will enjoy getting to know your child and caring for them as I care for my own children.
Sincerely,
Dena Idarola
