Dedicated Caregiver

Dena's Family Daycare was established in 2020 during the beginning of the COVID Pandemic. The owner, Dena Idarola, decided to take a leap of faith and leave her job as an office manager to open a home daycare. Opening a home-based business enabled Dena to provide financial, emotional and academic support for her family, as well as quality childcare for children from her community.

Experience: Dena has been the sole owner and operator of Dena's Family Daycare since 2020. During this time, she has provided exceptional quality care for many children, and has built a solid reputation within the Martinez community. Dena also has two daughters, ages 9 and 11, who love to interact with their daycare family and love to help! Dena's home is built on a foundation of love, laughter and is maintained with experience and community.

Education: Dena has a bachelor's degree in business management. She is also certified in pediatric first aid & CPR as well as preventive health and safety practices, as required by the California Department of Social Services - Childcare Licensing Division.

Supporting Growth

We offer limited spots for infant care, ensuring that infants get the individual attention they need. We also offer part-time spots which is a rare find within our community.

Health is a Priority

In effort to keep everyone healthy we are implementing daily temperature checks for children and increasing cleaning and sanitization of items and rooms.

Services

Pre-Enrollment Interview $50

One hour in-person meeting/tour of daycare: Enrollment folder containing all required forms will be given out when enrollment fee is paid. *No space is guaranteed. Multiple families may interview for a single space. Enrollment is based upon best fit, and receipt of all required paperwork in a timely manner.

Part-time Childcare

Dena's Family Daycare offers part-time care Monday-Thursday for children ages 6 months and up. Hidden Valley Elementary School, drop-off and pick-up. Limited availability for infants. Please contact us for more information.
